We do not have restrictions on officiates, sexuality, ceremony design, or other creative decisions.

They pride themselves on being the only all-inclusive, Queen Anne Victorian historic venue in the area. The Homestead itself is a gorgeously restored 1903 estate with a reconstructed Dairy Barn. Deerpond Plantation

Deerpond Plantation offers beautiful scenery, quiet elegance and an uncanny connection to nature. Come and experience a small slice of the charm of a mid-1800’s southern plantation. Located in Charlotte in the University area – convenient to I-85, I-77, I-485 and uptown. The 1200 sq. ft. Gazebo is the centerpiece of an extended area for garden ceremonies and celebrations and is adaptable to many settings. The Gazebo will comfortably fit 60 people, the garden terrace will sit hundreds and we also have a 40′ x 60′ tent available.

Great Aunt Stella Center

The Great Aunt Stella Center is a beautiful historic venue for weddings & receptions, conveniently located in Uptown Charlotte. It is completely non-denominational with no restrictions on the type of service, photography or videography. It is close to all Uptown hotels and free parking is available.

The Duke Mansion

Built in 1915 and tripled in size by its most famous owner James Buchanan Duke in 1919, The Duke Mansion is a 20-room bed and breakfast and event venue. The Duke Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and operates as a nonprofit whose proceeds are used to preserve and protect this community treasure.

The 1932 Barn

The 1932 Barn is a rustic and elegant barn wedding venue located in Charlotte, NC. It is right near uptown Charlotte but is located on a beautiful 180+ acre farm and rolling pastures. This space has both indoor, outdoor and covered areas that are perfect for both ceremony and receptions. Every rental includes all of the decorations for your wedding as well as a day-of coordinator and wedding staff.

The McGill Rose Garden

The McGill Rose Garden is THE place to have a garden wedding in Charlotte. Nestled just outside of downtown, the rose garden is a hidden gem conveniently located to all areas in Charlotte. The rich history of the garden coupled with the beauty and elegance of the roses and plants, making it a fantastic place for an event. The garden can accommodate a seated ceremony and reception for 100 people.

The site hosts a 5,000 square foot conference center and a Victorian-era manor nestled on almost 3 wooded acres.
