Headshots- Frequently Asked Questions

The proof gallery is sent the same day of the session. Once you choose your image(s) it usually takes 1-2 days for it to be delivered. If you need your edited image(s) back sooner, I will make sure you get them ASAP.

After your session, you will receive an email containing a link to your online proof gallery. From there you can sit down with friends and family to decide which image(s) you would like. If you're in a hurry, you can choose your headshots before you leave the studio. 

Your final image(s) are delivered via email that will contain a link to your online gallery. From there you can download your image(s) to use however you wish. * Images must be downloaded to a computer- images are too big for phone downloads *

Yes! The advantage of our studio at Revolution Mill is that we have many places to shoot. There are outdoor areas with walkways, natural areas and many other features that lend to great headshots.

Normally, we’ll shoot on a white or grey backdrop. This allows the focus to be on you without distracting colors.

We’ll often setup on location for our clients. We have state-of-the-art equipment that allows us to be 100% mobile. Have a large group together for a meeting? That’s the perfect time for us to come out to update your team’s headshots.

Depending on how comfortable you are it could take 10-45 mins. This varies greatly depending on the person but making people feel comfortable is part of the magic that happens. You’d be surprised.

A typical headshot session costs $210. There are no hidden charges.

Creating an atmosphere that you are comfortable in happens from the very beginning. Doug is well-reviewed for his ability to make people feel comfortable, don’t worry.

Ladies often have their makeup done before arriving at the studio. If you need a makeup artist, please let us know and we can have that arranged.

From a typical session you will receive 1 retouched image for $150 including the session. Some find they may need a few different shots looks which are $40 for each additional image. We will take between 50-150 images during your session. 

Absolutely! Depending on the client we can minimize wrinkles, whiten teeth, remove blemishes and scars, remove stray hairs, etc. Realistically we want you to look like you. God knows we all want to look 20 years younger, so we do our very best to light you in a flattering way.  

You are welcome to choose as many headshots from your session as you’d like for $40/ea. 1 image is included in the $150 headshot session.
