Wedding DJ or Band? Here is What You Should Consider
Should you choose a wedding DJ or band? Now that is quite a dilemma since both are fabulous options. There are pros and cons to both, so you should mull over them carefully.
Bear in mind that both are great options, so you can't really go wrong with either of them.
Why Wedding Bands Rock
A band can be extra special since there is nothing quite like pumping out the best music in real time that guests can jive to with gusto. A band playing actual music is the real deal. And guests will love the live music magic.
Of course, you will have to factor in the cost. Although a band is certainly awesome, so is the price. If your budget can afford then, by all means, go for a band.
Are Wedding DJs Better?
But if you need a more economical option to entertain guests, then a DJ will do just fine. The DJ might be necessary if there will be lots of guests. Having a DJ instead of an entire band could mean more space in the wedding hall for your guests.
And you just can't beat the variety that a DJ can put on the table. The DJ can play just about anything you desire. With a DJ, you have a huge repertoire of music, songs and genres. Be it disco or hip hop; you can have it all with a wedding DJ. A savvy DJ can also gauge the mood of your audience and change tracks accordingly to keep the party going strong.
Another factor to consider is that a DJ can prove to be relentless with awesome music. So if you are planning a late night party, then a DJ is vital to keep the good times rolling. Bands can’t keep going all night long like the indomitable DJ. Make sure that you talk to the DJ for any late night parties and discuss the fee.
